The Nike Air Max Trainer Essential
This updated version of the women's air max running trainer from Nike features a nylon mesh upper with a leatherette trim, a visible Air Max air unit on the heel, contrasting Swoosh logo's on the sides and a patent strap that incorporates the lace up. It's finished off with contrast embroidered Nike branding on the heel and on the fine mesh tongue.

When we initially first saw the Air Max Essential, I was a little shocked, I was expecting a rather more stylish pumped up looking pair of trainers. But benefit of the doubt I sent them out for reviewing. I had read a few reviews about the trainers online to decide who I would send them too. I went for a fitness trainer friend who teaches body pump and aerobics. She had to return them as they are a very narrow fit and she couldn't get on with them. She passed them onto her colleague who thought they were the best thing ever. This colleague taught step aerobics and circuit training. She liked them because they were very light and embodied with the cool nylon mesh which helped her feet to stay cool throughout her routines.
Recommended for indoor activity, i.e. step, aerobics, TBT's, Body Balance and circuit training.
Not the sort of trainer you would want for Netball, Volleyball etc, the support for you ankles would not be enough.
They are on sale for around £30-£50 depending on where you buy them.
