Dear Clubs!!
Welcome to the new Season 08/09!! We have launched the website where you will find everything you need for your clubs administation and news.
The RF1 forms are in the download section of the website which must be returned to your league manager no later than the 30th September or before playing your first league match.
Check out the news and results section each week as each league manager will update the results of your leagues and league tables to you can keep a close eye on the competition. However as always there is some key bits of information I need to draw your attention to now, so please read on in the newsletter.
For data protection the secretary lists, umpires lists and official fixture lists containing league managers details will not be published are
attached to this email for you. However, for everything else....GO THE WEBSITE!!
NICNA Committee Members Wanted
NICNA needs 2 new members to join the committee as over the summer two of the members appointed at the AGM have had to withdraw.
NICNA invites interested parties from all clubs to put nomination and seconded names in writing to the Hon Sec Trish Herron. Please email Trish at [email protected] no later than 30/09/08
Junior Netball Development
We are continuing to develop teh junior tournament structure for this incoming season and we are considering the U12, U14 & U16 divisions.
To help us provide fair competition for all children, we need clubs to indicate how many 10 - 12 yrs / 12-14yrs / 14-16 ys that approximately make up their junior club this year.

Update the Secretary List
Not all clubs provided updated secretary details for this season. In the attached Secretaries list their 07/08 secretary details remain.

RULES FORUMS!!
New rules have been introduced this season and all umpires and clubs must make themselves aware of them before the beginning of the season. The NNI umpiring committee
are holding 2 rules forums which is compulsory for all umpires and clubs to attend. The first is 11th September 08 at Lagan Valley Leisure Plex 7pm - 9pm.
The second is 25th September 08 in the Antrim Forum 7pm-9pm. The forum costs £10 per person. The new rules book will also be available to purchase £5.
BOOK OF ADMINISTRATION
is available in the downloads section of the websie - This contains everything you need to about the regulation of clubs netball in NI.
Clubs should refer to this as it will clarify issues regarding arranging matches, shield/plate information, disputes etc. And always check this before contacting
your league managers with general queries.
OPENING RALLY
Opening Rally is at the Lisburn Racquets Club on Sunday 28th Sept. Walk On is at 9.30am with games running from 10am to 4ppm Section B is 10am - 1pm, Section A is 1pm - 4pm.

MATCH RESULTS SHEETS
Match results sheets can be downloaded from www.nicna.co.uk. You can return your result sheets by scanning and sending via email within the 7 days rule and then following up
with the Postal Copy - ALSO SUBMIT A MATCH REPORT WITH YOUR SHEET AND SEE IT PUBLISHED IN THE NEWS SECTION OF THE WEBSITE!
