Naude Crowned Creteil Champion

RESULTS:      Women's Internationaux de Squash de Creteil, Creteil, France

Final:

[1] Annelize Naude (NED) bt [3] Lauren Siddall (ENG)       9-2, 8-10, 9-3, 9-4 (65m)

Newly-crowned Dutch national squash champion Annelize Naude added a further international title to her portfolio when she beat England's Lauren Siddall in the final of the Women's Internationaux de Creteil at the Centre Marie Therese Eyquem in Creteil, France.

Top seed Naude, who defeated defending champion Vanessa Atkinson to take the Netherlands title earlier this month, battled for 65 minutes before overcoming her surprise opponent in the French final.

Siddall, the third seed from Pontefract in Yorkshire, had reached the final after despatching second seed Tricia Chuah in the previous round.

But Naude was too strong for 23-year-old Siddall, winning 9-2, 8-10, 9-3, 9-4 to secure the fourth WISPA World Tour title of her career.
