Sharelle McMahon has etched her name into the Australian Netball record books, winning her fourth Commonwealth Bank Trophy Most Valued Player Award (MVP), at the Netball Australia Annual Awards Dinner in Melbourne tonight.
As the sport’s most prestigious individual honour, McMahon is the only player in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy’s history to achieve the feat, capping off a brilliant individual season for the talented shooter.
With an unbeatable combination of speed and accuracy, McMahon is a true champion of the game. During the 2007 season, she scored a remarkable average of 30 goals per game, while maintaining her career average of 84 per cent accuracy.
