Arica, Chile - Lo Prado defeated Arica 3-0 (25-21, 25-17 and 25-13) in the final of Chile’s Women’s Volleyball Championship to claim their second title in a row.
The group lead by Jorge Quintana proved simply unbeatable, not dropping a single set during the competition as they retained the crown they had won in 2010. Despite the loss, the hosts were cheered on by a crowd of some 2,000 people who filled the Zubiri Augusto Rubio gymnasium in Arica.
Jorge Pino Madrid, president of the Chilean Volleyball Federation (FEVOCHI) made the journey to the northern Chilean city to watch the season’s denouement and presented the trophy to the victorious Lo Prado team.Final Ranking
