Line-up confirmed for super sixes NationalIndoor Hockey Finals

The line-up for the showpiece super sixes National Indoor Hockey Finals at London's Wembley Arena is complete following the conclusion of the super sixes women's Premier Division at the weekend.

And following the women's super sixes semi finals, which were held on Sunday at Perdiswell Leisure Centre in Worcester, Bowdon Hightown and Reading will do battle in the Final as they bid to become super sixes Champions and represent England in Europe next season.

In a replay of the 2009 National Indoor Hockey Championships Final, Bowdon Hightown came through a thrilling 5-4 semi final victory over Slough, who had earlier finished second in the table, one place higher than the Cheshire club. 40-year-old Tina Cullen showed she still has what it takes as she scored twice for the 2009 Champions, taking her tally for the weekend to ten.

Reading had their England and Great Britain forward Alex Danson to thank for their progress. The 25-year-old found the back of the net 16 times over the weekend, including two in Reading's 3-1 semi final victory over defending Champions Leicester. The result means that at the end of their first season in the indoor Premier Division, Reading's women will play at the Finals where they will join their male counterparts from Sonning Lane.

A full house of 5000 is expected to take in 'the fastest show in town' on Sunday 30 January with supporters of all the clubs involved set for a bumper day of action. As well as three top matches, there will be music, entertainment and more.

And there was a double celebration for Norfolk's Harleston Magpies as their women also won promotion to the women's Premier Division after taking the Division One title. They, along with Bristol-based Clifton, will replace Chelmsford and Ipswich, both of whom were relegated to Division One. Chelmsford, who have won the National crown three times, failed to pick up a point in their eight matches and finished bottom of the table while Ipswich finished eighth with three points, three off the safety of seventh place, which was occupied by Hampshire club Trojans.
