Throughout 2010 Oakley UK will continue to proudly partner with the Lavender Trust at Breast Cancer Care and introduce two new special edition sunglasses to the women’s eyewear collection. The Lavender Trust raises money specifically to fund Breast Cancer Care’s information and support for younger women with breast cancer and is the only fund in the UK dedicated to addressing the particular needs of this age group.
As advocates of a healthy and active lifestyle, Oakley UK will donate £10 from the sale of each sunglass to the Lavender Trust. In addition our female athletes and ambassadors will be wearing their breast cancer awareness sunglasses to promote these charity editions in 2010.
Dangerous® is the new active lifestyle sunglass that features a vibrant, feminine print on the inside arms of the O MATTER® frame and the breast cancer awareness ribbon laser etched on the lens.
Commit™ is the new sport performance sunglass engineered specifically for women. The pearl white frame is accented with pink Unobtanium® earsocks, while the breast cancer awareness ribbon is printed on the frame and laser etched on the lens.
Both sunglasses come with a specially designed pin badge, women’s eyewear case and a custom MICROCLEAR™ bag for lens cleaning and frame storage. The Lavender Trust brings people together, helps to inform and support individuals and families, and campaigns for improved standards of care. Every year more people need their support and once again in 2010 Oakley’s customers can help the Lavender Trust be there for every one of them.
