Kiran made certain of her win in the Cross Country Challenge – which covers four Nordic events – when she was runner-up in the Nykredit Masters in Helsingor, Denmark.
She took second place after a three-way play off involving two other English players: Lisa Hall, the eventual winner, and Kirsty Taylor. All three tied on nine-under par at the end of regulation play.
During the Cross Country Challenge Kiran also tied fourth in the Finnair Masters and 28th in the Scandinavian TPC Hosted by Annika.
Kiran’s prize includes a brand new Volvo XC70 – but she has yet to learn to drive!
“I am happy to win the car - it was unexpected and I am really pleased,” she said. “I will probably have six weeks off before my next LET tournament so I might get some lessons in so that I can drive this lovely car!”
Overall, Kiran is now 29th on the LET’s New Star money list with winnings of almost 55,000 euros.
