April 6, 2007
All Detroit Demolition home games, played at Livonia Stevenson, will air on Bright House Networks.
The Detroit Demolition is proud to announce Bright House Networks as broadcast partner and sponsor. All home games for the Detroit Demolition will be taped and available on Local on Demand on Bright House Networks cable. Home games will be played at Livonia Stevenson High School, which is within the Bright House viewing area. The announcement was made by Jeff (J.R.) Rose, owner of the Detroit Demolition and Dan Dinsmore, Vice President of Marketing for Bright House Networks.
The agreement comes into play for the 2007 season, which begins April 28 with a home game. Being able to air home games on TV for the 2007 season enhances what has become a winning football tradition in Detroit, as well as a rather an inspirational women’s sports success story.
“We are excited to be able to partner with a great winning sports team, that is the Detroit Demolition,” said Dan Dinsmore of Bright House Networks. “And it will be a terrific opportunity for 80,000 homes in Livonia, Novi, Redford, Farmington and Farmington Hills to be able to see their games on TV, if they are not able to see them live at Stevenson. It’s a win-win situation for both of us.”
“For the Detroit Demolition to be broadcast on cable for the first time ever is a wonderful opportunity for the team to get our name, brand and football games out into the significant Bright House viewing area,” said Demolition owner Jeff (J.R.) Rose.
