WNt London have announced the launch of their premium haircare shampoo and conditioner duo – the UK’s first effective aftercare shampoo and conditioner, aimed solely at people who have undergone intensive salon hair treatments, such as Brazilian blow dry’s and Japanese straightening. The WNt London Shampoo and Conditioner for Keratin Treated Hair are priced at £10.95 each, and are available from www.wnthair.com.

Noticing a gap in the market for a collection of aftercare that is readily available to consumers, new kids on the premium haircare block, WNt London, have designed a formula that specifically targets heavily treated hair, such as those with Brazilian blow dry's and Japanese straightening, which can take a toll on your locks.

The new WNt London sulfate-free products have been in the works for the past three years and have been specially formulated to ensure abrasive treatments, such as chemical straightening, last much longer. They nourish and moisturise hair, while ensuring the salon sleek and vibrant finish is maintained. WNt London assert that using these products exclusively as an aftercare product at home can prolong the results of salon treatments by as much as 45%.

WNt London comes with the professional stamp of approval from chemical specialist hairstylist Joseph Criscuolo, one of the first stylists in the UK to ever offer a Brazilian Blow Dry service. With over 30 years styling and chemical works experience, Joseph worked side by side with Toni Mascolo, founder of Toni and Guy. Was one of the core team during the 1990's at Toni and Guy's flagship salon in Sloane Square, and has worked on celebrity clients including Kate Moss and Maisie Williams.

Speaking of WNt London Joseph Criscuolo says: " In a trial, I performed Brazilian blow-dries on eight models, and proceeded to trial homecare products on the said models over a 5-month period. Half used competing sulfate-free brands, and the other half used WNt shampoo and conditioner. The effects of the Brazilian treatment for those using competing brands started to wear out after seven weeks. The test subjects using the WNt brand saw longer efficacy (straight frizz-free hair) for over 12 weeks.

“I have used a multitude of shampoos aimed at keratin treatments in my 30 year acareer. In terms of prolonging the efficacy, as well as maintaining moistured hair (something which is almost impossible with Brazilian blow-dried hair), WNt is more effective than competing brands.”

WNt London is the brainchild of Founder Andre Johnson, who says: “Effective aftercare for intensive hair treatments such as the Brazilian blow dry, keratin treated hair or Japanese straightening has been conspicuous in its absence. We have spent years perfecting a formula that we believe takes complete care of your newly treated hair, prolonging the efficacy and maintaining slickness and vibrancy. People pay vast sums of money for these salon treatments, however they never last as long as they should because a quality homecare option simply isn't available. Such an option now exists with WNt”

WNt's range currently offers a shampoo and conditioner, but new product will be announced over the coming months. Find out more at www.wnthair.com.
