Greece takes first place, Spain goes for the medals – the results of day 3

On game day 3 of the women´s waterpolo tournament of the 14th FINA World Championships here at Shanghai, China one of the last medal round spots was taken by World´s recent number six Spain. In the second match Greece caused an upset beating Russia 6-5 to be the group C winner. The results of the last Preliminary Round day are as follows:
