That is what's heard all over the country. But with the help of the NWFA (National Women's Football Association) and Stormy Stroud owner of the first full contact women's football team in Modesto, California, women are playing professional football. This week Stormy and her general manager, Vanessa Velarde, attended the first ever Women's Sports Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
The first annual Marketing Women's Sports Conference and Summit was a smashing success with representatives from many women's teams, sports, media, and associations attending. The panelists, who came from around the country to share information with the attendees, were outstanding and the information presented will help the attendees move their
respective sports forward.
The Modesto Magic next round of tryouts are going to be Saturday, November 17th at Castleberg Park in Riverbank, CA. For information, visit ModestoMagic.net or email [email protected] or [email protected]
