Her round, which included 10 birdies, was the best of the tournament so far. It helped her to a one-over par total of 145 for 36 holes.
Florentyna, 18, is the French lady junior champion and has been selected for Europe’s team for next month’s Junior Solheim Cup.
British strokeplay champion Melissa Reid, 19, is also on one-over par at the halfway stage of the tournament – and the two teenagers head the English challenge in this event.
The 36-hole lead was held was Spain’s Carlota Ciganda on four- under par. After the third round the field will be cut to the leading 70 players and ties.
