England Ladies Super 4's News Update

The Super 4s competition, the competition from which the England Women’s Team is selected, that was due to be staged on Bank Holiday Monday, May 28, was cancelled due to the inclement weather.

So far the competition has not been re-arranged and this is unlikely to happen due to the fifty-over Super 4s League starting this weekend and then the International Series against New Zealand throughout August.

The first round of matches in the longer format of the Super 4s will take place on Saturday June 2 at the National Cricket Centre, Loughborough starting at 12.00pm. The Sapphires, captained by Rosalie Birch will entertain Nicky Shaw’s Diamonds while Gill Richards’ Rubies will play Alexia Walkers’ Emeralds.

Further matches are scheduled for Sunday June 3, Saturday June 16 and 23. The final round of matches will be held on July 7 and 8.
