England face the biggest day of their careers.

England v New Zealand

England Women will play New Zealand in the ICC Women’s World Cup Final on Sunday March 22 at the North Sydney Oval.

England had already secured their place in the final following a 146-run victory over West Indies on Tuesday while New Zealand booked their place today following triumph over Pakistan by 223 runs.

Captain Charlotte Edwards said: “Sunday is going to be the biggest day of our lives and we cannot wait for it. We now know we'll be playing New Zealand in the final so we can complete our preparations.

"We are all so excited and the whole team is really up for the challenge of playing in a World Cup final. New Zealand are a good side and we won't underestimate them. We have already beaten them in this World Cup, but we all go into the final on a par.

"Personally I cannot wait, it's going to be a huge game for us but one that we are determined to win."
