Double Whammy for Netball Fans!

It’s a double whammy for netball fans this October as two huge international competitions come to England.

Following the eagerly anticipated Co-operative World Netball Series from the 9-11th of October, England, will come face to face with Australia and New Zealand for a second time in only a matter of days – this time to continue the fight for essential world ranking points.

The Co-operative International Netball will take place at the University of Bath on the 13th and 15th of October and tickets are on sale now to see the three highest ranked teams in the world compete.

Ranked at number three in the world, England will be hoping to close the gap and move up to number two as the point’s difference is the closest it’s been since the world ranking system was introduced.

The England players should be at the top of their game with key players returning from the ANZ Championships, the recent World Youth Championships, and competing for a World Select Team in Australia and New Zealand.

“We’re urging fans to reserve their tickets now as it’s anticipated the 2,000 seating capacity will fill up quickly,” said England Netball’s Competition & Major Events Manager Matt Young.

Teams for both events will be announced later this month.
