Czechs Kolocova/Slukova strike gold in Berlin

 Kristyna Kolocova and Marketa Slukova from the Czech Republic claimed the gold medals at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Berlin smart Grand Slam on Sunday.

 

Kolocova and Slukova claimed their second gold in one month after winning the Prague Open in May. In the Berlin final they defeated Brazil’s Maria Antonelli and Juliana Felisberta da Silva 2-1 (21-14, 18-21, 15-12).

 

The bronze medals went to  Germany’s Karla Borger and Britta Büthe.

 

USA’s Bourne/Hyden win first World Tour gold in Berlin

 

Kolocova and Slukova crowned as Berlin smart Grand Slam champions

 

Kristyna Kolocova and Marketa Slukova won their second gold in only one month by winning the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Berlin smart Grand Slam on Sunday. The Czech team defeated Brazil’s Maria Antonelli and Juliana Felisberta Da Silva 2-1 (21-14, 18-21, 15-12) in a very entertaining final. Read more
