British Cycling has today confirmed the team of female riders who will compete at the European Track Cycling Championships taking place from 21 - 23 October 2011 in Apeldoorn, Holland.

The event, which holds Olympic qualifying points, will see current European Champion , Laura Trott,  out to defend her title.

Performance Manager Shane Sutton said: "We're sending a strong team to the Euros and our aim remains to score Olympic qualification points early. I'd say we are on target to achieve this as the whole team is looking strong and healthy as we enter into the final preparation stages for London 2012."
