Brazil claim South American Games crown



Brazil didn't drop a set throughout the tournament, winning all four of their matches
Envigado, Colombia,  Brazil continued their preparations for the FIVB World Grand Prix by marching to victory in the South American Games Volleyball tournament, beating Argentina 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-15) in the final match in Envigado, Colombia on Monday.

Patricia Bianchi topped the match score sheet with 13 points as her side finished the competition unbeaten with four victories without dropping a set.

“Joining this group impressed me,” Patricia said after the match. “We did not know each other, and in each game we had to overcome the obstacles we faced.”

Peru won the bronze medal beating hosts Colombia 3-0 (25-17, 28-26, 25-22).
