BRA - Olympics is the aim for NT coach Enio Vecchi

RIO DE JANEIRO (FIBA Americas Championship for Women) - Brazil coach Enio Vecchi has named 22 players that will on July 18 start getting ready for the FIBA Americas Championship for Women.

The preparations will get underway in Sao Paulo and the Olympic qualifying tournament itself will be held in Neiva, Colombia, from September 24 to October 1.

The squad will be trimmed to 12 by the start of the event.

"This time of preparations is very important for the group," Enio said.

"Let us focus on this important competition and pursue our goal, which is to fight for the title and therefore get the place in the Olympic Games."
