 Malaysian 16-year-old Wee Wern Low, who pulled off a sensational upset when she beat top seed Line Hansen in the first round, met her match in Annie Au in the quarter-finals.  Au, the fifth seed from Hong Kong who reached her second successive NSC Satellite event final last week, defeated unseeded Wee Wern Low 9-5, 9-3, 9-7.
