The trip to Asia was part of the national team's warm-up for the Panamerican Games in Rio de Janeiro and the FIBA Americas Championship in Chile.
In a statement released by the Argentinian Basketball Confederation's official website, www.cabb.com.ar, the country's governing body revealed that the cancellation was down to "problems with the organisation in the Chinese federation".
The camp was scheduled to start on Monday, but the new starting date has not been confirmed by the country's Confederation.
The women's basketball tournament of the Panamerican Games will be played from July 20-24, with the Argentinians being drawn in Group B alongside the United States, Cuba and Colombia.
The FIBA Americas Championship takes place from September 26-29 where they will face Brazil, Mexico and Chile in Group A.
Pinto had called up the following squad for the warm-up: Sandra Pavon, Marcela Paoletta, Paula Gatti, Marina Cava, Alejandra Fernandez, Florencia Fernandez, Celeste Cabanez, Anastasia Saenz, Sofia Castillo, Laura Nicolini, Andrea Kunkel, Constanza Landra, Valentina Maggi, Daniela Dublo and Noelia Zinna.
