Women’s title-holders Kenya Prisons, who are  preparing for this year's African Clubs Championships, displayed form and experience to record encouraging victories in each competition.

GSU beat Kakamega Prisons 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-12) in their match, needing just 56 minutes to seal victory.
