In the first set, Fenerbahce went to the technical time-out leading 8-6 and 16-11 managing to win the set 25-20. Vak?fBank started better in the second set taking the lead 14-11 . Fenerbahce tied the score at 20-20 and went up to 22-20 following some successful spikes by Kim Yeon-Koung. Although Vak?fBank tied the score once more at 23-23, it was not enough and Fenerbahce won the second set 25-23, taking a 2-0 lead in the match.
Vak?fBank was 9-7 ahead in the beginning of the third set but Fenerbahce caught up at 9-9. But with a 5-1 series, Vak?fBank jumped to a 14-10 lead and went into the second technical time-out 16-13. After the time-out Fenerbahce was very good at attacking and balanced the score at 21-21. With the help of their fans, Vak?fBank managed to go 24-22 ahead and won the third set 25-23.
Vak?fBank got off to a very good start and was 13-4 ahead in the fourth set, dominating the the court with the spikes of Gözde Sonsirma and Jovana Brakocevic. They went 20-10 ahead to eventually win the set 25-18.
Vak?fBank started out strong in the tie-breaker set with a lead of 8-4 after some perfect spiking by Gözde Sonsirma. Fenerbahce however narrowed the gap to 1 at 8-9, but Vak?fBank did not let their opponents tie the score. It won the last set by 15-12 to rejoice victorious with the trophy.
